Zero To 10k Before Launch Day.
A 30-post Instagram campaign that took Nimbus from zero to 10,000 followers in six weeks.
Where the project started.
Nimbus was six weeks from launch with a working app and no audience. There was no ad budget to speak of — the entire pre-launch strategy had to run on organic content alone. The founding team could write good captions, but had no system for turning ideas into consistent, scroll-stopping posts on a near-daily schedule.
How it came together.
Content Pillars
Four repeatable post types — product sneak peeks, the founder's build-in-public story, early user reactions, and a countdown — so no post started from a blank page.
A Templated System
A flexible Instagram template built once and reused across all 30 posts, keeping the feed cohesive without redesigning from scratch each time.
Launch-Day Coordination
A final content push timed around the actual launch, including a Product Hunt-ready graphic set for the day itself.
Fast Iteration
Weekly check-ins on what was resonating, adjusting the content mix as real engagement data came in rather than sticking to a rigid plan.
What it added up to.
followers gained in 6 weeks
posts designed and shipped
average post engagement rate
We had zero social presence and a launch date we couldn't move. What we got back wasn't just pretty posts — it was a system we could keep running ourselves after launch.
